It is the brainchild of Mike Brown who after 25 years in the distribution trade had a vision to set up the ultimate bike store in his home town. Tacoma Bike is proud to have provided the bicycles for staff at the soon-to-open Center for Urban Waters on East D Street (Grand opening September 9th). Employees at the center will be able to cycle short trips round town instead of getting in their cars and adding to Downtown traffic. Mike Brown of Tacoma Bike said, “We’re really pleased to have been asked and to be able to make this ongoing contribution to cycling in the city.”
