The Pangea is the Americano but purpose-tuned for use in an off-road environment. Don’t confuse it for a mountain bike, rather, a touring bike for when you know it might be months before you see a paved road. I’d love to think I am hard core enough to ride one of these. Rather, that I’d ever have the proper excuse to own one. Somehow my commutes around the city and the occasional overnighter don’t seem to make me feel qualified. Instead I feel like to ride a Pangea I should sell my house and point the nose toward Costa Rica via the Continental Divide trail. If I have one regret in this life, it’s that (so far) I’ve not made the time to own and wear our a bike like the Pangea.
