At Tacoma Bike, Sidi shoes are at the foundry of our collection. In a market rife with competition, we find it exciting to see new technology, but at the same time frustrating that none of it sticks around long enough to call it good. We like Sidi for that fact that they are so consistent. Their fit goes though very subtle changes, if and when it ever does. Their technology is secure and they are not quick to adopt a trend without testing it first. Most of us here wear Sidi shoes and have for the better part of our cycling lives. That probably won’t change anytime soon.
We also like Sidi for the simple fact that they are one of a shrinking group of companies who remain dedicated to only making footwear. Just about every other cycling shoe maker out there is involved in other products as their core; the shoes become a side sourcing project. You won’t see brakes or shifters or wheels or otherwise from Sidi. Just pure Italian design committed to shoes.
